KFG Bio

When starting to play electric bass in 1970 in a small
village in Baden/Germany I was 16 years old.

During my apprenticeship in a microelectronics
company, I started to experiment with sounds generated
with analog circuitry.

I studied musicology, double bass (jazz)» and hold a
M.S. in physics.

In 1984, I started to explore algorithmic music composition
in realtime by generating MIDI events with a Commodore 64
programmed in assembler.

My projects consist of live-electronics alone and with group
and interactive sound installations.

It was the computer music with dance category where I won
the 2nd prize at Bourges Competition 1992.
